Random Things I Am Liking Lately

It’s been a while since my last random likings post, so here’s what’s on my radar these days:

The Lily Mirror from  Ballard Designs would look great above a dresser in a girl’s room (or my room, whatever!):

I am looking for any excuse to purchase one of these amazing Bogart Flat Weave Wool Rugs from Garnet Hill.  Using one of these as a runner in a hallway would be perfect.

Currently coveting this amazing Scallop Trim Coat from Boden for the transition to Spring.

I am head-over-heels in love with these Nest and Egg Prints from Wisteria.  I could design an entire nursery around these babies.

This clean-lined Apex Bookcase from West Elm would fit perfectly against a short wall that would otherwise be wasted space.

These quatrefoil design Firenze Embroidered Panels from Ballard Designs are gorgeous.

Imagine the vignettes you could create on mantels, consoles and bookshelves with these adorable Hear No, See No, Speak No Owls from At West End.

These fresh and feminine desk accessories from PB Teen would look fabulous in both my daughter’s play room and my home office!

Have a fabulous weekend, y’all!

Random Stuff That I am Liking Lately

Winter blahs?  Guilty as charged.  I have been lacking motivation and inspiration lately.  {Gasp!}   I am determined to get my groove back.  In the meantime, here are some random things that I am currently coveting:

I love these organic, colorful pillar holders and would love to chase away the cold weather blues by setting a few on my mantle.

{Colorful Beaded Pillar Stands, At West End}

Ahhh, Serena & Lily.  I want to jump right into this Santorini-inspired bedding and hibernate until May.

{Catalina Duvet, Serena & Lily}

I am reading THE BEST book right now, which hasn’t really helped my motivation to get out of bed….

{The Help, by Kathryn Stockett}

How glam is this quatrefoil cocktail set?  It’s on MAJOR markdown right now.  I may go snag it — a strong cocktail at the end of a cold day may just be what the doctor ordered.

{Bronze Quatrefoil Barware, Sur La Table}

This soup is my lunch of choice these days.  On days when I am feeling particularly feisty, I add a dollop of salsa verde and sour cream.  De-Lish.

{Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup, Pacific Natural Foods}

Retail therapy may be the only true antidote for my winter doldrums.  First on my list is the handbag that embodies Spring.  You will be mine.

{Fresh Leaves Shopper, Anthropologie}

Random Things That I am Loving Lately

Isn’t this bag from Sundance Catalog divine?

I am loving this lamp from Shades of Light.  It may just turn up in baby spark!’s “big girl room.”

Speaking of the “big girl room,” I think this tu-tu-esque bedskirt from Pottery Barn Kids is so gorgeously whimsical.

This boyfriend watch from Fossil is on my list for Santa.

This delicious soup is my new go-to meal for a quick, yummy dinner.

I am coveting this sheet set from West Elm.

Kinda along the same lines, doesn’t this coat from Patagonia look warm, cozy and comfy?

This is my new fave bargain shower gel (~$2) — found in most grocery stores and drug stores.

I think this post reflects my current state of mind —
completely scatterbrained!  🙂

Random Things That I am Liking Right Now

Below are a hodge podge of items that I am loving at the moment with no regard to order (or price tag in some cases):

anthrocoat

I.DIE.  Bananas.  OTT.  {Insert favorite Rachel Zoe saying here.This coat ($298) from Anthropologie is perfection.

greekkeytable

I love these greek key accent tables ($179) from Acacia.  I think they would also look great with a coat or two of white or navy blue paint.

cookiefamroom

I can’t stop looking at this family room featured in Cookie Magazine this month.  I absolutely love the symmetry and the dual living spaces created in the same room.  Somehow, the “wood cabin look” works without being to country or campy.  The contemporary drawings above the hearth are beautiful and understated.  Love.

mclampg

I would love to gentley place one of these beauties on my desk and stare all day.  At $625 a pop, I guess gazing at the Maine Cottage website will have to suffice.

gapjeans

The best affordable jean of the season — Gap’s Long and Lean ($59.50).  I love the higher-waisted, trouser feel of these jeans, and the long inseam options.  They are so comfy too.

unicatableunicatable2

Aren’t these tables from Unica Home ($263) museum-worthy?  I would love to use two or three of these jaw-droppers in front of a couch or love seat as a cocktail table.  Simply divine.

pbklamp

I think this table lamp ($69) would look great in a home office or study.  I would love a pair sitting on either end of a console in a hallway too.  Who knew that it was from Pottery Barn Kids?  Kids prices for fab lighting, nice!

So, what’s striking your fancy lately?
